Basic Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
• ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
• 3 tablespoons organic apple cider vinegar
• 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
• ½ teaspoon sea salt
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:
1. Mix ingredients together in a container
2. Refrigerate until ready to use
3. Take out of refrigerator a few minutes before using
4. Shake before serving
Simple Italian Dressing (and marinade)
Ingredients:
3/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 t. minced garlic
1 1/2 t, sea salt
1/4 t. pepper
1. Combine all ingredients in a bottle.
2. Shake to blend.
3. Allow flavors to blend about an hour or so. Will be even more flavorful the following day. Refrigerate leftovers.
4. Makes about 1 cup.
Italian Dressing
Ingredients:
• 8 ounces extra virgin olive oil
• 4 ounces vinegar (white wine or balsamic)
• ½ teaspoon dried oregano
• ¼ teaspoon dried basil
• ¼ teaspoon sea salt
• 2 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a lidded container
2. Shake before each use - no need to refrigerate
3. This dressing is better when allowed to sit for awhile, but is still good right away.
Dijon Olive Oil Dressing
Ingredients:
• ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
• 6 tablespoons organic balsamic vinegar or lemon juice
• 6 tablespoons water (spring water if possible)
• 1 teaspoon organic Dijon mustard
• 1/8 teaspoon oregano leaves
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• Sea salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients into airtight container
2. Shake vigorously to blend
Tahini Dressing
Ingredients:
• 2 tablespoons sesame tahini
• Lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Mix sesame tahini with lemon juice to desired taste
2. Mix in water to achieve desired consistency
Greek Salad Dressing
2/3 cups extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
2 t. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 t. dried oregano
1 t. dried basil
1/2 t. black pepper
1 t. sea salt
1/2 t. onion powder
1 T. dijon mustard
1. Add all ingredients to a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake well to combine.
2. Store in the refrigerator, up to three months. Bring to room temperature before using.
Dry Ranch Seasoning
1/2 cup dried parsley
1/4 cup dried dill weed
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup dried chives
3 T. dried onion flakes
3 T. garlic powder
3 T. sea salt
2 t. black pepper
2 t. paprika
1. Put all ingredients in a pint jar. Put the lid on a shake until well combined. Shake before every use as it settles.
2. Use as you would a dry ranch seasoning packet.
